Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“After treatment, people living with, or having experienced cancer, still need care.
From supportive care to psychosocial healing, UICC members are making a difference:
– In Jordan, the King Hussein Cancer Foundation supports families with comprehensive rehabilitation and survivorship services.
– In Romania, Give Life (Daruieste Viata) incorporates psychological counselling and community support in their paediatric oncology hospital model.
Supportive care is not a luxury but a critical component to recovery.”
