“Another WIM Summit has come to a close, and I am filled with gratitude. Over the past seven years, Women in Medicine has grown and evolved, even as our nation has faced profound challenges – from a pandemic to policies that threaten progress and protections for science based healthcare.
This weekend, our speakers shared stories that were vulnerable, empowering, and inspiring.
Their call was clear: use your voice to drive real change, and lift others as you rise.
My hope is that everyone who joined us leaves feeling empowered to chart their own path, advocate for change, and work together to transform the systems we live and work within. I am deeply appreciative of every person who came to Chicago to celebrate the collective strength of women – and the unique power of each individual voice.
While challenges remain, I leave this weekend inspired and determined to keep moving forward.
I hope to see many of you next year in Chicago, September 24–26, 2026.
