AML is one of the deadliest forms of blood cancer and survival rates remain stagnant.
Research is vital to improve outcomes and ultimately find a cure. The Institute is proud to support researchers like Dr Nunki Hassan through an through our Career Support Grants to undertake this work.
Dr Hassan, a 2023 Early Career Fellow, is leading a project at University of Sydney to research a promising anticancer drug to help transform the AML treatment pathway.
