“Did you know, the Justice Health NSW Population Health team developed smoke and vape free playing cards which have been distributed in correctional centres across NSW?
Created in direct consultation with patients, the cards are a valuable resource as part of health promotion efforts. Each card features a message about the health impacts of tobacco, the benefits of quitting, and tips for how patients can combat their cravings.
While they have been in circulation since 2015, the deck was recently revised, supporting patients to plan for the barriers they will encounter when trying to manage their health.
