Guillermo Chantada, President of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology (SIOP), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I have spent a very productive visit in São Paulo.
On my first day, I visited the GRAACC one of the few pediatric oncology monographic pediatric oncology hospitals in Latin America.
I have witnessed once again their high quality work in care and cutting-edge research and have the opportunity to discuss with International Society of Paediatric Oncology – SIOP’s continental branch Latin American Society of Pediatric Oncology (SLAOP) President Andrea M Cappellano about the many activities we are doing together, especially progress in global mapping of pediatric oncology facilities, supported by Foundation S.
We have also discussed research studies in retinoblastoma which we will do from the outreach program at Barcelona Children’s Hospital Sant Joan de Déu with their leader Carla Macedo and the team from INCA in Rio de Janeiro.
Wonderful scientific time spent among friends.”
