Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“According to the World Health Organization, more than 400,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year worldwide, with 90% of cases occurring in low- and middle-income countries.
UICC member CanKids KidsCan in India provides holistic care, from hospital-based treatment and support, accommodation, education, and counselling, for children and their families – ensuring no child faces cancer alone.
To mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, children and their families came together to raise awareness and support for childhood cancer.”
