Triparna Sen, Associate Professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, shared a post on X about a paper she co-authored with colleagues published in STAR Protocols:
“New Publication Alert!
The Sen Lab has published a new protocol in STAR Protocols. It provides a critical tool for studying immune responses in small-cell lung cancer (SCLC), a cancer known for its resistance to immunotherapy.
We show that this step-by-step method enables researchers to:
- Co-culture HLA-matched CD8+ T cells with SCLC cells
- Measure T cell activation and tumor cell killing
- Quantify cytokine responses to lurbinectedin treatment
This protocol offers a powerful platform to study and enhance anti-tumor immunity in SCLC.
Special thanks to our collaborators and funders for supporting this impactful work.”
