The Max Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Patient Support Group Meetings bring together patients, caregivers, doctors, and advocates in a safe space of learning. Across India’s diverse states – where languages, cultures, and traditions may differ – our mission remains the same: to create a compassionate community where every voice is heard, every story matters, and no one faces their journey alone.
The day included:
Informative sessions
Q&A with physicians
Interactive workshops on managing stress and anxiety
Joining us at the meeting were beneficiaries of Project Shiksha, a program which our partner patient support group, Friends of Max, conducts to support the educational expenses of pediatric cancer patients and the children of cancer patients who are on lifelong medication.
Here is a glimpse into these special moments from one such meeting held recently in Mumbai at Tata Memorial Hospital.”
