“A friend of mine is being constantly told to ‘move faster’ and see more patients.

Let’s be clear: It is impossible to provide high-quality of care to patients if we don’t have time with them.

Listening takes time. Building rapport takes time. Making complex decisions takes time.

It’s impossible to provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients if we don’t have time with them.”
