Lung Cancer Europe shared a post by National Cancer Registry Ireland on X, adding:
“New figs out this week from the National Cancer Registry Ireland show 10 people a day are diagnosed with a cancer caused by smoking. Lung cancer is the most common. Ireland are members of LuCE – we want to echo the importance of this report. We support efforts to reduce smoking rates and prevent lung cancer deaths including through screening and earlier diagnosis. This is a challenge right across Europe. But it’s one we can change.”
