“Important study in Blood Journal. Of 48 patients with ITP who achieved full response to TPO-RA for a year, then stopped, half maintained that response at 4 years.
Demonstrates immunomodulatory effects of TPO-RA and supports consideration for stopping rx in patients stable for 1 year.”
