Erman Akkus, Medical Oncology Fellow at Ankara University, shared a post on X:
“Our study on lymph node ratio (LNR) in stage-III colon cancer.
- LNR: involved nodes/nodes examined.
- Adds further prognostication in pN1a-b and N2 TNM stages.
- Detects patient subgroups in different TNM N sages (pN1a-b and pN2) but with similar prognoses.
- Adequate and higher number of lymph node sampling.”
