Emily Drake, Postdoctoral Researcher at McGill University, shared on LinkedIn about a recent paper published in Sage Journals:
“New Paper
This week marks Global Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Awareness Week and I am thrilled to share the final paper in my dissertation.
This study asks: What may the experience be like for a young person living with a metastatic/advanced cancer to have conversations about palliative care with healthcare providers? This work sought to explore the taken-for-grantedness of ordinary and extraordinary young adult life experiences to unveil fundamental lived meanings of this conversational experience.
If you have the time, I do hope that you can read it.”
