“Honored to present our study at AACR25.
Disparities in NSCLC among Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) patients reveal significant differences in stage at diagnosis, treatment, and insurance status.
Key Findings:
- PI patients: younger, advanced stage, underinsured, less systemic therapy
- NH and PI: less likely to receive surgery for stage I disease
- Call for larger, multi-institutional studies to better support NHPI equity in lung cancer care.”
