“49% of patients with UC of the prostatic urethra experienced high recurrence at 5 years after BCG treatment vs 23% for bladder(HR 2.74). Progression to MIBC/metastasis 26% vs. 5% (HR 5.75). Early cystectomy should be a key consideration.”
