ABCC4 promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), enhancing cell motility and chemoresistance. High ABCC4 levels correlate with EMT markers, making it a valuable prognostic marker and a potential therapeutic target, particularly for aggressive basal-like/squamous PDAC subtypes.“
