American Cancer Society and Flatiron Clinical Trials Technology Research Impact Award supports projects that implement, study, or utilize interoperable technology—specifically Flatiron Clinical Pipe™—to improve the efficiency, data quality, and impact of cancer clinical trials. Projects must include EHR-to-EDC data transfer and are intended to study the effect of such technology on trial operations.

Eligibility

  • Independent researchers at US-based academic institutions or eligible nonprofits
  • Must have relevant training and research expertise
  • Must agree to the terms of a confidentiality agreement with Flatiron Health

Grant Term and Budget

  • 250,000 USD total direct costs
  • 2-year award term
  • No indirect costs allowed

  • LOI Deadline: March 17, 2025, by 11:59 PM EDT
  • Full Application Deadline: June 1, 2025, by 11:59 PM EDT
  • Award Notification: October 2025
