The Nordic Cancer Union (NCU) invites applications for its 2025 Research Grant, aimed at promoting collaborative cancer research across the Nordic region. Projects must be cancer-relevant and strategically suited to a Nordic setting, with a clear synergistic benefit from working across borders.
Eligibility Criteria

The Principal Investigator must be employed at a Nordic research institution

The research team must include collaborators from at least three Nordic countries (two in exceptional cases with strong justification)

Projects must align with the NCU Research Strategy

Applications and attachments must be completed in English

The collaboration must be scientifically integrated, not a loose affiliation
Funding Details

Primary funding duration: 1 year

Renewable annually for up to a maximum of 3 years

Review & Selection

Applications are evaluated by the NCU Scientific Committee, consisting of representatives from all six Nordic cancer societies
