The SIOG 2025 Annual Conference will take place in person from 20 to 22 November 2025 at the International Convention Centre of Ghent (Gent ICC) in Belgium.

This in-person event will bring together experts, researchers, and professionals in the field of geriatric oncology to share knowledge and discuss the latest advancements in the discipline. Remote participation will not be available, so all attendees will need to be present at the conference venue in Ghent to participate. With the theme of “Bridging Research and Clinical Practice in Geriatric Oncology”, the event emphasizes the need for integrating scientific discoveries into clinical care to improve outcomes for older cancer patients.

In 2025, there will be no specific tracks for abstract submissions, meaning that all proposals related to geriatric oncology will be considered for presentation, provided they follow the submission guidelines. The conference welcomes submissions from a variety of disciplines, including those historically under-represented in the field, such as surgical oncology and radiation oncology.
