NSW Cancer Summit 2025

The Inaugural NSW Cancer Summit 2025 will take place at the ICC Sydney on 13 and 14 August 2025.

This two-day event will bring together leading minds in cancer research, treatment, and care to shape the future of cancer prevention and control. With a focus on NSW’s world-leading efforts, the Summit will cover a wide array of topics, including cutting-edge laboratory research, innovative prevention strategies, advancements in treatment, and holistic care approaches. The event will serve as a platform to generate new ideas, address key challenges, and provide valuable expert insights into the future of cancer care.

The program will feature a variety of multi-stream sessions designed to engage delegates. These will include keynote presentations from distinguished speakers, abstract and poster presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. Networking opportunities will also be available, allowing attendees to connect with peers and experts in the field. Throughout the Summit, experts will delve into pioneering cancer research, covering the entire translational research pathway—from laboratory innovations to patient care and beyond.

A key focus of the Summit will be on the latest advancements in cancer care, including optimising behaviour change in prevention, implementing risk-based screening, and advancing precision medicine. Technological innovations, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), will also be explored, along with the growing importance of real-world data in cancer treatment.
