NCCIH 25th Anniversary Celebration

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) will celebrate its 25th anniversary by hosting a half-day symposium titled “Exploring the Impact of Whole Person Health” on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Bethesda, Maryland or Virtually.

The event will feature the prestigious Stephen E. Straus Distinguished Lecture in the Science of Complementary Therapies, delivered by Patricia M. Herman, N.D., Ph.D. The lecture is titled “The Economic Impact of Whole Person Health,” offering valuable insights into the economic aspects of integrative and holistic health approaches.

NCCIH 25th Anniversary Celebration will include two important sessions: “The Potential Clinical Impact of Whole Person Health,” which will explore how whole person health care can transform clinical practice, and “The Challenges and Promise of Whole Person Health Research,” which will examine the current obstacles and future possibilities for advancing research in this field. The event is aimed at researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and the general public, providing a platform to share knowledge and ideas.
