“Exciting new Lancet role.
Later in 2025, The Lancet Group will launch an open-access journal dedicated to the unique health challenges on the African continent: The Lancet Regional Health – Africa.
To lead this important endeavour, we are searching for an Editor-in-Chief – someone with a good understanding of
– The challenges facing health care across Africa
– The dependencies and nuances within and between countries
– A well-established network of colleagues established during their time working in medicine or medical research
The Editor-in-Chief will ensure all content meets the rigorous standards of external peer review and that expected by our readers.
This will be a full-time, in-house position, based in Cape Town, South Africa.
