“To mark National Cancer Survivors Month last June, UICC member organisation, the Apollo Cancer Centre, Apollo Hospitals Hyderabad, announced the pan-India launch of ‘CanWin’, a support group that brings everyone together in their cancer journey.
CanWin is a platform that unites oncologists, psycho-oncologists, patients, caregivers, and volunteers to create a compassionate community built on empathy, support, and shared understanding. More than just a group — it’s a safe space to talk, listen, learn, and heal, rooted in the belief that “shared strength can change lives”.
The initiative was launched by an emotional storytelling session led by people living with cancer, where each shared their personal stories of courage, strength, and triumph.”
