“Today marks the beginning of Module 1 of the 2nd SIOP Europe Course in Paediatric Oncology in Mechelen, Belgium.
The opening programme featured a warm welcome from Course Chairs Dr. Andishe Attarbaschi and Dr. Reineke Schoot, reflections from alumni of the first edition, and the first interactive sessions; including a quiz on genetic predisposition to childhood cancer, a workshop on presentation skills, and lectures on infectious prophylaxis and treatment.
The evening will continue with a networking dinner connecting this year’s cohort with participants from the previous edition, reinforcing the value of shared learning and mentorship.”
