Sona Jilavyan, Lead Radiologist for Breast Cancer Screening Program at National Center of Oncology of Armenia, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Successfully performed a technically challenging breast biopsy today.
The lesion was extremely small—just 5 mm—and located very close to the pectoralis muscle, requiring precise technique and careful approach.
The biopsy was performed under ultrasound guidance, which is essential for accuracy, safety, and real-time visualization—especially in complex cases like this one.
Proud to contribute to early and accurate breast cancer diagnosis, where every millimeter truly matters. Early detection saves lives.”
