About CureCervicalCancer
CureCervicalCancer (CCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing cervical cancer in resource-poor regions by establishing sustainable, community-based screening and treatment programs. Each year, over 500,000 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer, and more than 300,000 die—most of them in low-resource countries with limited access to care. CCC focuses on the “See and Treat” method, which includes visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) and immediate treatment for precancerous lesions, a proven and cost-effective approach in areas with limited medical infrastructure.
A hallmark of CCC’s model is the innovative “Clinic in a Suitcase”, which contains all the essential tools to establish a cervical cancer prevention clinic. The organization also supports these clinics through its Revisit-Re-educate-Resupply programs, ensuring long-term sustainability and continuous care. With a mission grounded in prevention and empowerment, CCC partners with local healthcare providers and governments to reach the women most at risk—and ultimately, eliminate cervical cancer one community at a time.
