“What’s something that you learned from an executive coach or mentor that had a profound impact on your thinking or approach to work?
I’ll start (paraphrasing):
Foster Mobley, Ed.D.: ‘Never underestimate the effort needed to effectively communicate a message to others who have not been exposed to the same fact set from which you have benefited and they have not. You may need to repeat a message several times before it lands and is absorbed.’
Mark Gross: ‘Don’t let the 90% of your job that is awesome and meaningful get eroded or overtaken by the 10% that stinks.’
What are some pearls you’ve learned from a coach or mentor?
