Was thrilled to spend time with trusted industry colleagues and friends.
And special thanks to Health Evolution for hosting a special session for the South Asian Healthcare Leadership Forum.
My panel with Jaewon Ryu and Amy Perry and Chris Michalak focused on the state of healthcare leadership in the US.
My comments focused on the broken state of healthcare leadership in the US and the epidemic of toxic positivity.
We can’t fix problems unless we see them clearly.
And celebrating mediocrity (something we are all guilty of) actually perpetuates it.
Leadership has been described as ‘war time’ leadership v ‘peace time’ leadership.
We are clearly at ‘war’ with a broken status quo and need more war time leadership.
