Pierre Foidart, Medical oncologist and Head of Clinic at the University Hospital of Liège (CHU de Liège), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Delighted to benefit from the trust of the Stichting tegen Kanker – Fondation contre le Cancer and to have been selected by their jury. It’s a real honor. This clinical research mandate is a fantastic opportunity to perform research with serenity during 4 years in a great academic environment at CHU de Liège ICAB institute.
I’m very happy to share this joy with Céline Grégoire with whom we come from the same graduating class. I have a lot of friendship for you Céline and admiration for your work. It’s great to be two selected people from Liège at the same year :)!
Thanks to Nor Eddine Sounni, Agnès Noel and Kornelia Polyak for everything they taught me and their support. Thanks to Professor Guy Jerusalem for his trust towards me and teaching.
A huge thank you to Pierre Close: it’s a privilege to work in your laboratory and a pleasure every day! Thank you for your support in all circumstances and your insight and advice in the development of this project! You’re an exceptional PI and a role model both as a scientist and a human being.
Many thanks to Télévie F.R.S. – FNRS and Fondation Léon Fredericq that all gave me the possibility to work both in clinic and in research until now. Read more.”
