“I am very pleased to share with you our latest publication on the correlation between vaginal microbiome and success of cervical precancerous treatment. This study concluded that a vaginal microbiome profile dominated by Lactobacillus may serve as a potential biomarker for positive treatment responses.
Therapeutic approaches, such as probiotics, could help regulate the vaginal microbiome, enhance HPV clearance, and promote the regression of cervical precancer lesions. IARC is setting up further large-scale,multicentric studies to address the challenges of cervical precancer treatment among women living with HIV.”
