“No Woman Left Behind: WOCD 25
Ovarian cancer was responsible for 206,839 deaths and 324,398 new cases worldwide in 2022, according to incidence estimates.
Diagnoses and treatments are delayed due to a lack of knowledge about the symptoms and risks. In order to close the awareness gap, the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition designated May 8 as a day to raise awareness of this disease, which affects a large number of women globally.
Join us this year as we mark the official launch of Cancer Awareness & Research Impact Group (CARIG), and also continue to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and to push for its inclusion as a global health priority.
‘No Woman Left Behind’ is the theme for WOCD’25.
Let’s raise awareness, not regrets!
