Mark Hughes Foundation Centre for Brain Cancer Research shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was something special to see community spirit in action at the NRL Beanie Round in Newcastle on Friday night. And we loved seeing all the staff at McDonald Jones Stadium all kitted out in their MHF beanies too!
This highlight on the MHF calendar is a visible demonstration of how the community rallies around to buy a beanie to support brain cancer research. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who bought a beanie, participated in The Big Three Trek, or supported Scott Hingston’s run from AAMI Park in Melbourne to Newcastle, a stunning $3.5 million has been raised to battle brain cancer.
These funds will play a crucial role in advancing brain cancer research for everyone impacted by brain cancer. Thank you.”
