Karen Knudsen, Executive Strategic Advisor and Immediate Past CEO of the American Cancer Society (ACS), posted the following on LinkedIn:
“Sunday Catch-Up… spending today diving in more deeply into the new U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) AI Strategic Plan, and alignment with all the AI-centered discussions from last week’s J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference (JPM2025).
By my count, ~20% of presentations at JPM focused on AI innovations—from clinical applications to operational efficiencies. This feels like a pivotal moment (or perhaps, a launching point?!) for AI in healthcare.
I’m looking forward to being part of the movement to leverage AI responsibly to improve cancer outcomes and deliver equitable care.
