“Cancer is no longer a death sentence.
However, many survivors – long after their treatment has ended – face financial discrimination when applying for loans, mortgages, or insurance.
ECO’s Patient Advisory Committee has written to both the EU’s Health Commissioner and the EU’s Financial Services Commissioner calling for a ‘right to be forgotten’ law, in alignment with Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.
Cancer survivors deserve better!
