European Cancer Organisation shared a post on LinkedIn:
“During last week’s EUonQol General Assembly, our President, Dr. Dégi László Csaba, called for bold steps to embed Quality of Life into every stage of cancer care.
He warned against reducing it to a simple “buzzword.”
‘Quality of life must be treated as a core outcome of cancer care- not just an aspiration. To make real change, we need the right tools, the right training, and the courage to invest in what truly matters to patients.’
The discussion emphasised the importance of health workforce training, data systems and meaningful patient involvement to embed QoL measurement across every aspect of cancer care.
