Children’s Cancer Institute – July is Sarcoma Awareness Month

Children’s Cancer Institute posted on LinkedIn:

“Sarcoma is a rare and aggressive cancer that begins in the bones or connective tissues – and it grows fast. Each year in Australia, around 90 children and adolescents are diagnosed with this devastating disease.

That’s why we’re pushing for change. At Children’s Cancer Institute our researchers are making real progress toward safer, more effective treatments.

This July, we’ll be sharing:

  • Stories from brave families affected by sarcoma
  • Ways you can help raise awareness

Honour the lives impacted and help us in our fight against sarcoma by:

  • Donating to fuel life-saving research.
  • Engaging with our social media – like, comment, share and tag us to help spread the word and raise awareness all month long.”
