“Luce Report 2024 is highlighting again the lack of shared decision-making in lung cancer care.
- 44.1% participants felt their opinion was not considered
- 28.9% stated they did not fully understand the info received
- 50.7% reported not being involved in decision-making.
Unfortunately similar results we reported in this SR The Annals of Thoracic Surgery on early-stages decision-making as pat did not recall there being a choice between surgery or SABRT options.
