“It was an honor to participate in the panel discussion ‘Strengthening Cancer Prevention Strategies in Europe’ in Warsaw!
Here are my key takeaways from the discussion:
- 97% of healthcare data is inaccessible – At BC Platforms, our mission is to enable healthcare providers and biobanks to access and utilize this data for one goal: better patient outcomes.
- Compassion in prevention matters – Addressing healthcare disparities starts with empathy. We need to understand and tackle the barriers underserved communities face, ensuring equitable access to prevention and care.
- Prevention as a product – As a physician working in the industry, I believe prevention needs a creative approach. Let’s ‘market’ prevention with innovative communication, outreach, and education strategies to make it engaging and accessible!
A heartfelt thank you to the organizers for the opportunity to be part of such an impactful event.
To my fellow panelists – Beata Jagielska, Hajo Zeeb, Bogi Eliasen, Mef Nilbert, Andrzej Nowakowski, Paweł Koczkodaj, Katarzyna Pogoda, and Ebba Hallersjö Hult – and to Monika Dzienynska-Dyk for your exceptional moderation, it was a pleasure to share the stage with you.
Let’s keep the conversation going – what are your thoughts on unlocking healthcare data and rethinking prevention strategies?”
