Bishal Gyawali, Associate Professor at Queen’s University, posted on LinkedIn about recent article he and colleagues co-authored:
“New paper just published.
We find that the cancer screening recommendations from “Top Ten US Cancer Centers” are always in the direction of more screening than the USPSTF recommendations.
They recommend more screening, more frequently, start at earlier age, continue up to later age, and rarely discuss the harms.
So just because it is “Top Cancer Center” doesn’t mean you should trust their websites!”
