SPCC (Sharing Progress in Cancer Care) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“ SPCC was pleased to organise the live symposium ‘Best practices in antiemetic control’ during this year’s The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC)/ISOO Annual Meeting in Seattle.
The session brought together international experts to explore practical strategies and recent developments in the prevention and management of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, with insights on:
Mechanisms of prolonged vomiting
Barriers to access to antiemetic therapies
Approaches to individualised care
A multidisciplinary audience joined the discussion on how to close persistent gaps in practice with updated, evidence-based solutions.
Missed it? The symposium will soon be available on demand via www.oncocorner.net, our e-learning platform. Stay tuned!
Our thanks to the faculty: Matti Aapro, CH; Hirotoshi Iihara, JP; Alex Molasiotis, UK; Florian Scotté, FR.
This activity is supported by an educational grant from Helsinn Healthcare SA.”
