Alique Topalian, Research Scientist of Survivorship and Supportive Services at University of Cincinnati Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Spent the last two days at my first conference of the season. The Case Western Reserve University Cancer Disparities conference has been a great way to build partnerships across the state. An added bonus was presenting my poster next to my mom Michele Seyranian, and connecting with my cousin, John Pounardjian.
Shout out to my mentor Melinda Butsch Kovacic! Thank you for including me in this important work. We presented one poster on the Cancer Research Scholars Program for undergraduate students.
The second poster was on our comic style story Becoming Research Ready which teaches community members about the 3 Ps of research- purpose, protection, and participation to open up dialogues about research participation. You can learn more about this story and others here.”
