I am honoured and really happy that an excellent mentee from our team, Angela Viggiano, received the prestigious American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Merit Award, granted by Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation.
At the meeting, she will present her tremendous work about the performance of PFS in control arms of trials leading to cancer drug approvals by FDA.
I am proud of Angela and of the fact that the work was entirely conducted at our school of Medical Oncology led by Prof Roberto Bianco at University of Naples Federico II.
