Drew Moghanaki, Lung Cancer Specialist at UCLA Health Jonsson Cancer Center, shared a post on X/Twitter:

“Roswell Park’s 13-year experience with single-fraction lung Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)  is reported (n=263). Local failures include post-treatment scars that grew more than 20% and had FDG-avidity as bright as pre-treatment. Once again, the treatment site control rates mirror almost all multi-fraction lung SBRT studies.”
