Dr. Elkins is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Baylor University, and Director of the Mind-Body Medicine Research Laboratory, the world’s leading center for hypnosis research.
With over 25 years of NIH-funded research, he has pioneered hypnotherapy interventions for hot flashes, sleep disturbances, stress, trauma, and smoking cessation. His groundbreaking work has earned the highest level of evidence (Level I) from the North American Menopause Society and has been widely cited in top journals and media outlets.
During this session, Dr. Elkins will share the latest research on hypnotherapy for breast cancer survivors, including its impact on symptom management, sleep quality, and overall well-being. He will also discuss practical strategies for integrating hypnotherapy into clinical practice.
