Karen Knudsen, Executive Strategic Advisor and Immediate Past CEO of ACS, shared on LinkedIn:
“Here’s something that deserves a closer look. If we are serious about turning the tide against cancer, we must prioritize prevention and early detection. The latest Color survey identifies a critical gap:
Current state: 91% of benefits leaders agree that organizations should prioritize early cancer detection and survivorship support… BUT
Fewer than half (43%) have implemented comprehensive cancer benefits as a strategy to reduce costs.
Fellow CEOs– this is solvable. We have the tools, the data, and the ability to act. Employers play a pivotal role in expanding access to life-saving screenings, prevention programs, and cancer care solutions that not only improve lives/health outcomes but also reduce long-term costs.
Thank you, Othman Laraki and Color for providing the data that are a clear call to action. It’s time to move from awareness to impact.”
