We’re thrilled to have GILLES VASSAL, Board Member and Policy Lead at SIOP Europe, the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE), as a speaker at the European Cancer Inequalities Registry (ECIR) event launching the Country Cancer Profiles 2025. This year’s profiles feature a dedicated spotlight on childhood cancer, highlighting disparities in access to care and research and how survival rates can vary substantially across Europe.
What’s the reality? The SIOPE OCEAN Project maps how paediatric cancer care and research are structured and delivered in 38 European countries, revealing what may drive survival differences across Europe.
