Shubham Pant, Professor of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology and Investigational Cancer Therapeutics at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared on LinkedIn:
“The past two days have been a truly unique experience that reminded me of my residency days!!!
I was called in with the ‘Ride Out’ team of MD Anderson Cancer Center due to winter storm Enzo.
I spent the last 48 hours rounding in the hospital and camping out in my office!! Over 2,000 employees stayed on-site, working tirelessly to ensure the seamless delivery of patient care. I wanted to give a huge shoutout to all the support teams (all not listed here): security, housekeeping, and especially the café staff – who made sure we were all well-fed! Overall, it’s a great example of teamwork.”
