“Prof Richard Sullivan, Director of the Institute of Cancer Policy at King’s College London, calls for urgent reforms to address deadly delays in cancer treatment for refugees, particularly women with breast cancer.
‘Most women who are refugees will experience surgery delays of between three to 12 months,’ he writes, urging the international community to integrate oncology into its humanitarian efforts.
