Quoting Lee Ellis, Ruben Distinguished Chair in Gastroenterology Cancer Research at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, on LinkedIn:
“Seeking a new opportunity to help the next generation of cancer care providers in their academic careers. I have had wonderful opportunities at MD Anderson Cancer Center for the past 30+ years, but time for a change in venue as I seek to rejoin old friends in South Florida (from my days as a resident at the University of Florida in Gainesville). I have been fortunate to work with great cancer organizations such as the NCI, ASCO, AACR, ESMO, EORTC, SWOG, NCTN, ECOG-ACRIN, JAMA Oncology (currently Deputy Editor), and more. I would continue to hold positions in several of the above organizations including SWOG (Vice Chair for Translational Medicine until mid-2025 or beyond, with 28% support of NIH cap). Also, I hope to continue my volunteer work with the many organizations listed above. Would love to work full or part-time to mentor the next generation of cancer care providers at all levels.”
